Teacher User Agreement

Welcome. This agreement describes the terms and conditions of using of GetStudents.Net (https://www.GetStudents.Net) and SenseiNavi.com (https://www.SenseiNavi.com) websites. We may alter or amend any of the terms within this agreement as we see fit at any given time and will post changes on this page.

1. GetStudents.Net "Online" teaching services are available to language teachers worldwide. "In person" (or "Both") teaching services are available only to individuals legally residing in Japan with valid Japanese address, visa, and working phone number.

2. GetStudents.Net acts merely as a venue for prospective language teachers to post their information and possibly be contacted directly by prospective students. GetStudents.net services are for this introduction ONLY, with no other guarantees or obligations stated or implied.

3. Teachers are obligated to treat students and prospective students in a respectful manner, be on time for meetings with students, and act in accordance with any agreement(s) (explicit or implied) you make with the student.

4. Your on-line profile must describe you accurately. Your profile may only include text descriptions, graphics, pictures, video and other content relevant to yourself and your teaching. Any profile found to contain deliberate falsehoods will be removed and the contact information of that profile will be stored in our database in a manner such that none of same contact information can not be re-registered.

5. The materials used and displayed by GetStudents.Net and its sites, including but not limited to text, software, photographs, graphics, illustrations and artwork, video, music and sound, and names, logos, trademarks and service marks, are the property of GetStudents.Net or its affiliates or licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. Any such content may be displayed solely for your personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to modify, reproduce, retransmit, distribute, disseminate, sell, publish, broadcast or circulate any such material without the written permission of GetStudents.Net.

6. Use GetStudents.Net at your own risk. NEITHER GetStudents.Net, NOR ANY OF ITS SUBSIDIARIES, DIVISIONS, AFFILIATES, AGENTS, REPRESENTATIVES OR LICENSORS SHALL BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANYONE ELSE FOR ANY LOSS OR INJURY OR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE OR SIMILAR DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR ACCESS OR USE OF, OR YOUR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE, THE SERVICE AND THE SITES AND THE INFORMATION AVAILABLE ON THE SERVICE AND THE SITES OR ARISING OUT OF ANY ACTION TAKEN IN RESPONSE TO OR AS A RESULT OF ANY INFORMATION AVAILABLE ON THE SERVICE AND THE SITES. YOU HEREBY WAIVE ANY AND ALL CLAIMS AGAINST GetStudents.Net, AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES, DIVISIONS, AFFILIATES, AGENTS, REPRESENTATIVES AND LICENSORS ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE AND THE SITES AND THE INFORMATION AVAILABLE THEREON.

7. Any communication or material you post or transmit to the GetStudents.Net, Inc. or its Sites is, and will be treated as, non-confidential and non-proprietary. You assume full responsibility for anything you post or transmit, and you grant GetStudents.Net and its affiliates the right to edit, copy, publish and distribute any information or content you post or transmit for any purpose realted to promoting you and or the GetStudents.net or SenseiNavi.com and affiliated websites.

8. GetStudents.Net and its affiliates do not review or monitor any web sites linked to the GetStudents.Net, sites and are not responsible for the content of any such linked web sites. Your linking to such web sites is at your own risk.

9. You should be aware that if you voluntarily disclose personal information (e.g., user name, email address) on a bulletin board, chat room or on any other user or member generated pages, that information can be collected and used by others and may result in unsolicited messages from other parties.

10. Teacher member permits profile data created prior to February 13th, 2013 (on now defunct findateacher.net website) be displayed on GetStudents.net / SenseiNavi.com & affiliated websites.

11. Prohibited Content & Activity
The following is a partial list of the kind of Content & Activity that is illegal or prohibited to post on or through the GetStudents.Net Services. GetStudents.net reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action against anyone who, in GetStudents.net's sole discretion, violates this provision including without limitation, removing the offending communication from the GetStudents.net Services and terminating the Membership of violator. Prohibited Content includes, but is not limited to content that, in the sole discretion of GetStudents.net:

- is patently offensive and promotes racism, bigotry, hatred or physical harm of any kind against any group or individual;
- harasses or advocates harassment of another person;
- exploits people in a sexual or violent manner;
- contains nudity, violence, or offensive subject matter or contains a link to an adult website;
- solicits personal information from anyone under 18;
- promotes information that you know is false or misleading or promotes illegal activities or conduct that is abusive, threatening, obscene, defamatory or libelous;
- promotes an illegal or unauthorized copy of another person's copyrighted work, such as providing pirated computer programs or links to them, providing information to circumvent manufacture-installed copy-protect devices, or providing pirated music or links to pirated music files;
- involves the transmission of "junk mail," "chain letters," or unsolicited mass mailing, instant messaging, phishing, spimming, or spamming;
- furthers or promotes any criminal activity or enterprise or provides instructional information about illegal activities including, but not limited to making or buying illegal weapons, violating someone's privacy, or providing or creating computer viruses;
- includes a photograph of another person that you have posted without that person's consent;

12. GetStudents.net reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action against anyone who, in GetStudents.net's sole discretion, violates this provision including without limitation, reporting you to law enforcement authorities. Prohibited activity includes, but is not limited to:

- criminal or tortious activity luding child pornography, fraud, trafficking in obscene material, drug dealing, gambling, harassment, stalking, spamming, , sending of viruses or other harmful files, copyright infringement, patent infringement, or theft of trade secrets;
- attempting to impersonate another Member or person;
- using any information obtained from the GetStudents.Net Services in order to harass, abuse, or harm another person;
- using the GetStudents.Net Services in a manner inconsistent with any and all applicable laws and regulations.
