What is GetStudents.net?

GetStudents.net introduces language teachers to students all over Japan. Teachers create their profile on GetStudents.net. This profile displays to prospective students in Japanese on SenseiNavi.com, the website where students search for language teachers.

GetStudents.net teachers are free to teach students any way, at any location, and any price per lesson they choose. GetStudents.net teachers are freelance & not under contractual obligation with GetStudents.net.

Who can sign up?

Anyone interested in teaching a language and legally residing in Japan may sign up. Whether you are a language school teacher looking for extra part-time work, a foreign businessman looking to teach new Japanese friends, the wife of an ex-pat looking to teach your Japanese neighbors - GetStudents.net can help you. Some teachers are full time private teachers who make their entire income from teaching private lessons.

Native Japanese teachers are also encouraged to sign up. All teachers must plan to be in Japan for at least 4 months to register.

How do students contact me?

After students select you from the SenseiNavi.com website, we send them the email address(es) and phone number(s) that you provided in your GetStudents.net profile. Giving your phone numbers to students is optional (but highly recommended). GetStudents.net needs your working phone number on file in case we need to contact you.

What else should I know?

GetStudents.net does not know the students who contact you so you must decide on your own if a student that has selected you on SenseiNavi.com is someone you are willing to teach or not.

GetStudents.net does not get act as a middleman in relations or disputes between teachers and students.

GetStudents.net may, at our discretion and without notice, remove inappropriate teacher profiles.

Your contact information is available to any student (or other person) on the internet who purchases for your contact information from the SenseiNavi.com website.
